    8.006h now available....

    Added the ability to edit the CERecent.txt file as well using directory finder buttons.

    Also now retaining the shapefiles for the interactives that have static objects attached to it.

      I could be wrong but I think that neither v8006g or v8006h are updating the latest edit date on the opening route selection menu.

        There's nothing in TSRE generating that. It gies by what Windows says is the changed date.

          When I go into the activity editor to edit loose consist I can't open the route drop down menu anymore?

              Re the date stamping. Why should it work OK for earlier versions of TSRE but not for the two latest versions?

                Can't answer that but I'll check.

                  I may have found the reasoning for this. You have to add or delete a file within the folder for it to trigger a new time. Simply saving a file will not set the modified date for the folder..

                  Most TSRE updates don't do that, unless you use one of the functions that creates a backup file (e.g. TDB rebuild) or adds files (e.g. merge) --OR-- you have TSRE set to save the logs to your route directory instead of the TSRE directory (setting EseWorkingDir = true, this is false by default ).

                  I did come up with a way to trick the system in the resetting the modified date for those users who don't save logs to the route's directory.

                    I'm gonna need to have a screenshot or two to show me what you're talking about. There is no route drop down that I see inside the activity pane.

                        Confirmed. When opening TSRE Consist Editor 6h (the only version of 6 I've tried) and selecting Activity Consists, the drop down to select a route does not work. This is the default install--no custom settings. fork06h.jpg

                          Ok, that is not the Activity Editor... its the consist editor.

                          Check the following two settings:

                          LoadConsists // false skips loading existing consists when loading the editor
                          LoadActivities // false skip checking activities when loading the editor

                            I have
                            loadactivities = true
                            And
                            loadconsists = true

                            No # in front of either

                              When I launch Trainsim.Com Fork v0.8.006h, the start menu opens.

                              When I launch the Consist Editor, the selection window opens with the installation directory of the content listed in the cerecent.txt file.

                              When I select a directory, the Consist editor loads the corresponding content without any problems.

                              I think the content in your cerecent.txt file is causing a problem and isn't entered correctly.
                              Everything is working perfectly!

                                All of those things happen for me as well. But the problem comes when I change from Consists to Activity Consists in the upper left hand corner. Try that on your end and see what happens.
