    Traffic and Path Woes

Recently, I gave Scott's TSRE GenX fork a go after trying out Eric's TSRE TrainSim fork which the latter didn't satisfy me due to the filter options being bugged for both consist and route editors.

So far, I had a decent go with the former except for one thing. I don't know what I'm doing with the activity editor, but I was doing things wrong or so it seems.

One thing I notice is whilst I created an path using TSRE Gen-X's activity editor, while running in Open Rails is the path inside the game seems to go to a siding if there's one nearby despite that I don't intend on having to go the siding multiple times in some spots. As for trying to get an AI train to show up in said activity, it has to do with the services and traffic which I'm having trouble with the latter because of the spawn time even with the help of the TSRE document and some of the people in the TrainSim Discord server...

This is what I'm trying to do, the consist on the right is meant to be an AI train, it currently acts as a loose consist as proof of concept until I figure out the traffic and services in the activity editor.
