    TSRE and SoCal Route

Recently downloaded this route and wanted to alter a few scenic items, specifically the trees that encroach on the cajon line and the static SD trolley so I can create some AL traffic. This is the only route that the "jump" feature in TSRE fails. Just to make sure it wasn't PC related I opened another mega route, PRR eastern, and can easily navigate in the editor but SoCAL and for that matter surfliner 2.2 hang. I get a program not responding message and then the program exits. What could this be? Insufficient processor power, insufficient memory, other? I haven't tried fly over navigation for SoCal since the starting point is LA, a long way from where I want to work. Is that even an option?

Make sure that your tileLOD setting is turned down. Setting it to 1 might be necessary.

Something else you can try is changing the start tile in settings.txt to be where you want to do your edits.

Appreciate the response, now to learn how to do what you suggested. Don't get me wrong here, this is my preferred method of mastering programs.
