    Traffic Circles

At the north end of Kingsport there is a traffic circle with a monument in it. I tried to create this from 4-lane, 20meter, 90 degree pieces which would have been a little large but when I closed the circle, TSRE burped to desktop. Then I remembered that I had created a traffic circle (static i.e.) for the Nterminal route (Nashville, TN terminal) which I am using in part of at least 4, possibly 5 routes and so I copied those objects over to the new Kingsport Sub. route and see attached for the result. This is a little undersize, and since this is a common problem, I may go back into TSM and make a couple more, larger in size. If I do, I'll upload them to the library. The other two roads leading into the circle are 2-lane.

Yep, creating the circular RDB node will indeed barf. If linked the 90's to a tee piece, that would break up the nodes. You'd also need an equal length tee at the top of the circle making it more of a traffic oval....

If you like what you see here at Trainsim.com, be it the discussions and knowledge in the forums, items saved in our library or the ongoing development of our TSRE Fork, I hope you'll consider a paid membership to help support keeping the site operating.... Thanks!
