No changes to the TDB are needed at this point. What's been asked for by Route Builders is a way to rebuild a TDB and RDB end to end.

I've been looking at a way to run a looping function that a) selects each TrackObj, b) emulate a Z keypress, and c) emulate another Z keypress. Keeps all the same functionality that doing this via the GUI would do, so no changes in the math or file I/O...

Reducing the floating point precision from 8 to 7 does seem to have made a few bugs go away. The 180 degree flipped vectors at turnouts seem to have been reduced, as have the broken vectors (a small difference between the ending point of node member X and the starting point of node member X+1 within the same node).

There were also some values being written to TrItems with small decimal values instead of being rounded which also went away when FPP was adjusted.

Could you please modify the code in TSRE so that if you can't find a folder that's in settings.txt, for example, "includeFolder = OpenRailsCZSK," you'll look for another eng or wag in the "OpenRails" folder? And if he doesn't find anything there, he's going to search right through the root folder of the model?

I think it definitely makes sense.

The motion is a bit important, since looking at, for instance 3d Cabs, it is quite hard to see them without moving the model up or down.

Hi Folks,

Just an FYI - the old Gausden Shape Viewer gives you effect coordinates and a visual representation - if you open the ENG/WAG file instead of the shape file.

Thanks for the idea, but sadly that program doesn't work for me in Windows 11. No matter what I do I get the error 339 trainlib.ocx. Even using the latest fix released a couple of years ago ish.

I wonder if someone has had the same problem I have had the last week. Last Friday, there was an update for Microsoft Windows 11, and now, when I use the Consists Editor and open a file in the external editor, nothing happens. It seems like it can not find Notepad. I was wondering how I might be able to fix this, as I really enjoy using this program.

I'll take a look. Worst case, I can add a setting with the path to your preferred text editor.

I also used the route merge function for the very first last night, and ran into a few interesting problems with the terrain of the second route overwriting the first's. I will probably add a few switches to that which will allow users to opt-in to which parts they want to merge, including just the world files, the TDB/RDB, and terrain.
