Totally confused with IR vijayawadavishakapatnamandvijayanagaram2 route

I'm having a problem understanding something about the "Vijayawada" route........it appears confusing as there are 4 parts which I am not sure are needed to make the route, or is it 4 separate routes????? The #1 and 2 downloads appear to be the main "trunk route" from Vijayawada. the #3 and 4 downloads appear to be the branch line to Brahmapur???????, but what goes where???
1) vijayawadavishakapatnamandvijayanagaram
2) vijayawadavishakapatnamandvijayanagaram2
3) vijayawadavishakapatnamandbrahmapur
4) vijayawadavishakapatnamandbrahmapur2

How is the route to be assembled????? Start with the #1 and 3 downloads, then overwrite with the "part 2" files #2 and 4 downloads, all in the same folder or are the 4 files separate revisions of the same route???? Instructions are far from clear, so anyone who can help is appreciated, as from what I tried running it looks like a well done route worth using.

Perhaps you only need vijayawadavishakapatnamandbrahmapur.zip
The other files are previous versions and are unnecessary.
This is just a speculation. Only the author can justify the prerequesties.

The latest file is vijayawadavishakapatnamandbrahmapur.zip (file ID 91172) which was uploaded one day after vijayawadavishakapatnamandbrahmapur2.zip (file ID 91171) and has a few extra files, but only in the activites/paths/services sections.

I unpacked vijayawadavishakapatnamandbrahmapur.zip into a default MSTS installation. It requires a modern tsection.dat file so I added build #60 (file ID 88841).
The route now runs OK in Open Rails Stable 1.6.1, but I cannot tell you if it has all the specified branches!

A number of track shapes are reported as missing, so maybe it needs XTracks or the updated A-Tracks. A proper readme would have been useful!

Thank you for the correction. The latest file indeed is the one without the '2'. Odd naming scheme.
Using only this latest file, the route works fine for me.
Someone with more knowledge and the willingness to hunt can dig deeper into verifying if the route has all its files or not.

Thanks for the effort guys.....at least it's food for thought as the starting point. I think the Bramhapur file has the "branch and wye" the author talks about zig-zagging etc......But WHY put out a file with no designation as a later version than the files with a 2, indicating a later progression of the route????? Makes no sense Captain.
The READ ME (the "bible" we never used to read) is essential here, but sadly lacking ANY instructions what to do.

I have installed it, taken a short run on it. If this is the authors first route, not bad at all, more finesse in grade changes would have been nice. The major flaw is that the route is laid out north to south, whereas the real route runs north-east to southwest in line with the coast. The point where the large wye leads out to the line to Bhramapura is completely wrong when comparing to Google earth. Second problem is speed limits, nothing is visible in the track monitor that is actually relative to actual limits, consequently one cannot run with the speed limit alerter active.

OK BALDWIN.....HOW did you put it together from which of the 4 files??????? NO READ ME or any test on how to install..........

Looking at my attempts, the line from Vijayawada, it is on the bottom of the track diagram...(South) and runs to the top Visakapatnam (North) The branch to Srikakulam Road runs west then north of the wye. In all though it still looks nothing like the line diagramj on his brahmapur2 diagram.
One attempt I made at trying to combine the 2 files fro the route wiped out the Vijayawada station and only left the Electric Loco Shop.
I feel the route is good and worth salvaging properly

Any help please to straighten this out. Thanks for your effort

Hi Doug
I used the later single file without the 2 on the end. Looking at the log there are several items that are missing textures, most seem to be default shapes and other items such as station boards missing.
