    Malwarebytes And The Updater

If anyone from Run 8 Studios is reading this, please note Malwarebytes does not like the updater program. I had to run Malwarebytes the other day after an innocuous link to get some joypad utility for OMSI 2 decided to install a pop up generator on my PC. In the course of running Malwarebytes it flagged and removed the Run 8 updater. So, like a lot of the download files flag up on Windows as suspicious, you guys really need to spend some time updating your security certificates etc.

Malwarebytes has a reputation for generating a lot of false positives. I ran into the same issue with Malwarebytes and OR.

It's unfortunate but of all the "exes" on my PC, the Run 8 updater was the only one it flagged, didn't actually throw up OR.

And Windows Defender vs both the R8 download inks they send and trying to run the actual files has a long history of struggle!
