A pair of hi-nose EMD units (GP35/GP30) lead a Norfolk & Western freight on what are likely ex-Wabash rails in these summertime views. Set up by N&W to customarily run long hood forward, these popular 'second generation Geeps' were used for many years all over the N&W system in a variety of roles, with more than 80 of these two types being rostered in total.
