MSTS, just doesn't work on Windows 10 or 11 using NVIDIA graphics!

Have you tried going into Device Manager, then select Display adaptor to see if both adaptors are installed.
From there you should be able to open up the information on each adaptor and do whatever you require.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Rober,

Yes, the display drivers and software are installed and updated

I read somewhere that using a custom resolution would get MSTS to work, but because HP disabled the custom resolution in NVIDIA control panel and Intel completely removed the custom resolution feature in later versions of Intel Graphics Command Center. I'm unable to test this so-called theory of adding a custom resolution to in theory get MSTS working on Windows 10 or 11 or both. Unless I was able to somehow find the Intel Graphics Control Panel app that was originally installed when I had Windows 10 on my laptop

Personally, just because it's integrated graphics. It's stupid that the NVIDIA advanced settings gets disabled by HP "Not sure about other companies".
This is certainly the last time I will ever buy anything from HP = Disables everything!

I don't have an HP machine. But HP help forums suggest running the Nvidia control panel in Administrator mode.

when you upgraded to Win11 you lost the ability to swap graphics.
Windows does not have that ability. It is built into HP"s version of Windows.
Go to Settings /System/Display and you can change display resolution.
800x600 is usually right at the bottom.

Alright! I just got MSTS working! I found the original Intel UHD Graphics Control Panel app on the Microsoft Store! Did not realise the app was in my list of owned apps

The app allowed me to create a custom resolution of 800 x 600; refresh rate 60p Hz and I can still have my recommended resolution set without changing to 800 x 600 to load up MSTS 😎

            HI Phil,
I appreciate that you probably selected 800x600 resolution due to hardware restrictions but MSTS runs happily at 1280x1024x32 (as set from its OPTIONS > DISPLAY screen) and has done so for me for many years using NVIDIA cards.

            Cheers,
            Ged
