    Craig Kawahara

Craig last visited the forum in mid-December 2024. I sent him an email last month and received the below from his wife today:

This is Carrie, Craig’s wife. I’m sorry to share that Craig actually passed away earlier this February. He had been battling cancer for the last few years, and was hospitalized the last two months.

Craig has been a member here since 2002 and if you search the files for "Kawahara" you get 99 hits. Most of those are track diagrams that he created for many routes.

RIP Craig. His diagrams were extremely helpful for comparing what's in the route vs what is actually there in the real life counterpart. I've used a few of his diagrams for scenery upgrades and making explore paths.

Used many of his diagrams in the beginnings of my MSTS adventures. May he rest easy, with condolences to his family.

I got to meet Craig shortly before his diagnosis when he dropped-off several boxes of train mags. Missing you, my friend.
