    Quota Eliminated for long-time members

I've recently made three adjustments that will waive Quota restrictions for certain free members:
    • Members with more than 3000 posts in the forums
    • Members with more than ten years since their join date
    • Members who are considered Approved Uploaders
If you meet at least one of those thresholds and don't already have a current paid membership, you should now see an Override message appear when you go into the File Library.

Other restrictions (e.g. download speed and simultaneous downloads) will still be in place.

If you believe you fall into one of those categories and aren't seeing the override, please let me know.

If you like what you see here at Trainsim.com, be it the discussions and knowledge in the forums, items saved in our library or the ongoing development of our TSRE Fork, I hope you'll consider a paid membership to help support keeping the site operating.... Thanks!

      Hello Eric,

I did notice "Seniority Override" or its German equivalent. Could not find an esplanation. According to my profile I joined in 2013, i., e. before more than ten years. In the past I did not download many files, but I was able to do so.

A few weeks ago I tried to find the latest version of TSRE5, in order to download it. Yet I was no longer able to find it. let alone to download it.

Question: What did I do wrong, where was / is my mistake?

      Thanks for your helpful answer.

      Reinhard

From my initial guess on why you had the Seniority Override status for the quota is your account age in question, since you joined in 2013 that means its almost 12 years old, therefore it may have met one of waives.

Dunno if it's either Goku's version or the TrainSim fork version but if its the latter, I'm going to make another guess is the keywords and the catelog you set in the File Library search bar didn't get you to what you needed, I will leave the link for the current version for the TSRE TS Fork here.

Look to the left there by your avatar Brandon. It states how many posts you made since your join date which is listed too.

Underneath your "Join Date" it states that you have 2,561 more posts to achieve your goal of 3000

I've been forum in Trainsim for 15 years and I've only posted 134 messages. but I don't know what it means Exceeded 500Mb Quota - Seniority Override because I don't have a way to become a paying member. Does anyone know what it means?

The free membership offers 500Mb of downloading, which you've exceeded. Because you've been with the forums so long, you should be able to continue downloading beyond that 500Mb limit.
