Here is a list of easter eggs found in train simulators:

1. The Theme Song of Densha De Go 2017 is a parody of Elvis Presley's "Workin' On the Railroad"
2. One of the flatcar loads in the Green River Route for MSTS is the Semi Trailer from Smokey and the Bandit
3. Robotic Voice from 2001 a Space Odyssey in PRR ER for MSTS
4. Secret "Upside Down Gravity Experiment" in Sea View 5 for MSTS
5. Pacman and Business Names in Some Routes
6. Spiral Rollercoaster in Default Marias Pass
7. Hidden underground tracks in default routes.
8. Eckington Yard Ramp in NEC V4.0 and PRR-ER.

What other easter eggs are there? It's enough to drive you mad!

The Microsoft name and Windows logo on the top of the JP1malloffices.s shape in the Northeast Corridor route files.

#4 is classified and cannot be disclosed, under penalty of some unspecified action or another.

There is also a UFO shape in the shapes folder of the Marias Pass route, which was never actually used, along with a rock outcrop shape with a bunch of names of Kuju devs scrawled on it. That one did make it into the route, just outside of Kalispell

nevermind I figured it out. It's somewhere near Horseshoe Curve. Near the mystery hole.

A UFO appears in the Monon 2 Route, and a fighter jet attacks it as you follow it (or it follows you)

I noticed the UFO many years ago but never saw the jet.

It is based on an actual incident. If you go to Ric Berg's website, he has a news article from an Indiana newspaper reporting a UFO following a MONON train.
